Restoration of the former convent of San Sebastiano, home of the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy of the University of Cà Foscari – Dorsoduro – The intervention consists of the functional restoration of the university complex, with the creation of new study rooms, a new library and offices. The intervention mainly involved the replacement of wooden floors, the restoration of ancient plasters, the stone materials. On these, the substitution and / or restoration of the damaged parts was carried out, structural reinforcement through insertion of metal profiles and final protective treatment. . Moreover, they have been realized: terrazzo floors in the Venetian style, old-looking marmorino plasters, thematic plants, internal and external electric and thermomechanical plants complete with relative thermal power stations and electric energy transformation booths. All the systems have been designed to be managed and controlled by supervision and remote management systems using hardware and software and data transmission systems using fiber optics. Photometric, radiometric and colorimetric measurement for interiors and exteriors as well as control for the protection of visual hygiene
