Restoration and adaptation to the congress center headquarters of the Federico II University – Naples

The University of Naples “Federico II” is considered one of the most prestigious universities in the world. The architectural restoration and remodeling project for the new multimedia use with its congress center involved the former Faculty of Economics and Commerce.
– Construction of a hot water production plant. Supply and installation of 5 AHU air treatment units, 2 groups of refrigeration units, 2 boilers and 10 extractors for air conditioning and 90 fancoils
– Creation of lighting system with remote control electronic systems and remote control with related data transmission systems made with optical fiber; Photometric, radiometric and colorimetric measurement for interiors and exteriors as well as control for the protection of visual hygiene
– All electrical, anti-intrusion, fire-prevention and air-conditioning systems have been designed to be managed and controlled by supervision and remote management systems using hardware and software
– 5.000 square meters of floors in precious marble
– 3,000 square meters of brick stabbing facades
– 4.000 sq.m. suspended ceilings in fireproof plasterboard design
– 4.000 sqm of restoration and cleaning of existing marbles
– 1.200 square meters of coffered restoration and antique precious wood furnishings
– 500 square meters of laminated wood doors
– 3 new lift systems
– average workforce employed about 70 workers assigned to the various tasks
